Inspire with clear presentations
Present complex concepts with confidence
Presentation training for all professionals who want to present complex or specialized information in an accessible and inspiring way
Dates: Tuesday, October 10th + Tuesday, October 24th 2023
The training consists of one full-day session and one half-day session in Amsterdam in a small group to ensure adequate time and attention for each individual.
Present complex information clear, concise and convincingly
Your knowledge, whether you work as a data- or business analyst, scientific researcher, technical expert, or other profession dealing with specialized information, is highly valuable for your organization. But knowledge is only valuable when communicated clearly and effectively. Many professionals face the challenge of presenting complex information to audiences outside their specific domains, including corporate executives, policymakers, and other companies to collaborate with. What is the key to present your information in the best way possible to improve and increase your impact?

This training offers a solution by unveiling the secrets of impactful presentations tailored to diverse audiences, both internal and external to your organization. You get tools to bring across information dense and complex matters in a clear, concise and convincing way. During this training you will learn how to present your insights in a way that captivates and engages your audience. During the training various aspects of effective presentations will be covered, including content development, delivery techniques, and strategies for engaging with your audience. The goal is to equip you with the necessary skills and confidence to deliver impactful presentations.
This requires a well-structured story, one that is interesting, surprising, or even exciting to your audience. You must know how to make your story relevant to them while being aware of your own goals at the same time. You also learn how to connect with your audience, make them willing and curious, and entice them to interact.
During this open training, presented by Marloes ten Kate, you will learn these and other techniques for presenting your expertise with impact. Marloes is a presentation coach, presenter, and former science journalist. She is a co-founder of Scientific Storytelling, where she trains scientists and academics in the art of telling a comprehensible and captivating story. She has worked for national radio and television programs and has trained hundreds of (international) professionals as a presentation coach in the techniques required to prepare and deliver effective presentations.
